Video of me stuffing cake in my mouth
I rarely talk about work, but here I will. Today, at a birthday celebration, there was one last piece of chocolate cake that no one was claiming. So, I claimed it, but paused to make sure no one else wanted to knife me for it. Instead, one dude said “I’ll pay you a buck to eat that in one bite.”
You know me. Of course I responded, “A buck? I dunno. Not a buck.” So we negotiated up to $5, contingent on it getting recorded for the internet. Little did he know that me eating a piece of cake in one bite is wickedly tame for what’s been recorded of me and posted online.
$5 if I could get the whole piece in my mouth, in one bite. We discuss the terms of “bite,” and, well, just watch the damned video. (The guy taking the video was one of the two folks whose birthday we were celebrating. And yet I still talked him up. Yeah, I’m *that* guy.)
I used that money to buy a latte. #icmf
